MARKER MANAGER Add-In

The Marker Manager Add-In allows you to manage marker files. You can open an existing marker file, save chosen markers to a new file, delete markers from the open file, and append markers to an existing file. With this add-in, you can save your markers to a file and send them to other users who can use the add-in to append the markers to their caliper.mrk file in their Windows folder.
You can also use this resource file to learn about reading arrays from, and writing arrays to a file, and managing multi-dimensional arrays.

To run this dialog box using the GISDK toolbox:

1. Download the file GISDK_MARKERMANAGER.ZIP and extract the file MARKER MANAGER.RSC. A good place to save the resource file is in the GISDK\Samples folder in the Maptitude program folder.
2. Choose Tools-Add-Ins and open the GIS Developer's Kit toolbox
3. Compile this macro in test mode using the first button (Compile)
4. Run this dialog box by clicking the second button (Test), typing the dialog box name "Marker Manager", clicking the Dialog Box radio button, and clicking OK.
