Caliper Releases Maptitude Version 4.7

Maptitude 4.7 provides new functionality and enhancements:

  • Analysis: Create density maps to analyze point data such as customer concentrations and crime hot spots; Identify service areas with the facility locator; Compute adjacency of areas to explore market expansion, plan evacuations, or track disease outbreaks
  • Reports: Produce single page reports of districts or market areas using several customizable templates, in standard or batch mode
  • Editing: Batch edit multiple layers to create a map for an area of interest
  • File Formats: Import TIGER/Line 2002 and 2003 files; Add JPEG/World (.JPW) files to maps;  Open ArcView 3.x Project (.APR) and Legend (.AVL) files
  • Datum conversions: Use new datum conversions for Canada, Great Britain, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand
  • Integration: Access Maptitude from a Windows .NET application or as a COM Object using the GISDK programming language
  • Data: Use the new and updated geographic data files: Streets 2003, 2003 County Areas with 2002 and 2003 population estimates, 2004 5-digit ZIP Code point locations including P.O. Boxes/companies/buildings, Major roads with travel time and speed data for accurate routing, 2004 Metro/Micropolitan Statistical Components and Areas, 2000 Metropolitan Area Central Cities, 2000 Consolidated Metropolitan Statistical Area, 2000 Consolidated Cities, Indian Reservations, 2000 New England County Metropolitan Areas, 2004 New England City and Town Areas/Components, U.S. Time Zones, U.S. 30-second Digital Elevation Model, 3- and 5- digit ZIP Codes (July 2000)
