NEWTON, MASSACHUSETTS;
March 31,2006 - The newly developed Massachusetts
High Technology Council MassTrack web site (www.masstrack.org)
provides a ranking of Massachusetts communities in terms of how "technology
friendly" they are. Working with data provided by Virtual Media Resources,
Caliper Corporation created the MassTrack mapping application. The site
shows how communities are doing in terms of tax rates, construction permits,
education levels, and other factors of interest to high-tech businesses
seeking to recruit employees or locate facilities.
The
interactive maps on the MassTrack web site are run by Maptitude for the Web,
