containing 2010 and 2008 demographic projections and 2006 demographic
estimates for U.S. 5-digit ZIP Codes.
The demographic data include July 1, 2010 projections, July 1, 2008
projections, and July 1, 2006 estimates with counts by age, race, sex, and
Hispanic origin. The equivalent data from the 2000 Census are also included.
The demographic estimate and projection data each have total population plus
19 categories of age (under 1, 1-4, five year age groups from 5-9 to 80-84,
and 85+), 4 categories of race (White, Black, American Indian and Alaska
Native, and Asian and Pacific Islander), 2 categories of sex (Male and
Female), and 2 categories of Hispanic (Non-Hispanic or Latino origin, and
Hispanic or Latino origin).
These data have valuable applications in marketing, real estate, urban
planning, transportation planning, social and economic analysis, site
location, and business forecasting.
The data are available in Caliper geographic file (.CDF) format for use with
Caliper’s Maptitude, TransCAD, and TransModeler software. A centroid version
is also available in ESRI Shapefile format.
Pricing:
Single user license prices for all of the demographic projection data are $895 nationwide, $495 for large states
(California, Texas, New York, Florida), and $295 each for all other states.
The separate prices for either the 2008 or the 2010
demographic projection data are $495 nationwide, $295 for large
