Maptitude for Precinct & Election Management 5.0 is Now Shipping

NEWTON, MASSACHUSETTS (USA) - Caliper Corporation is now shipping version 5.0 of Maptitude for Precinct and Election Management (Maptitude P&E). Maptitude P&E combines sophisticated GIS and mapping software, an easy-to-use interface, and a wide array of customized data to create a complete precinct and election management solution for county and state election offices. Election offices throughout the country from New York City to Orange County, CA, use it to enhance the election process.

Maptitude P&E contains a variety of tools for modifying precinct boundaries. As you select geographic areas, the software computes the number of registered voters being added to the precinct, along with any other attributes you have identified. You can automatically create a list of registered voters and the streets where the precinct has changed.

The Precinct Map tool makes it easy to view any precinct, query information about it, print a map, and print a legal description (metes and bounds report). Precinct-Voter reports can be designed to list the number and characteristics of voters per precinct, and the software can also create complete precinct map books using predefined templates.

Once you have defined your new precinct boundaries, Maptitude P&E can automatically update the street file required by your voter registration software. You can combine odd and even ranges, account for precinct splits, and print a sorted report.
