Maptitude comes in several variations allowing you to perform street level mapping in the U.S., Canada, U.K., and other countries.

Standard Maptitude includes:

• Streets for the entire United States and territories with address and ZIP Code ranges for locating (geocoding) your data
• Interstate highways
• U.S., State, and County highways and ferry routes
• Major roads with travel times and speed data

Answer a few simple questions and Create-a-Map Wizard (TM) makes a map at any scale; from all the countries of the world to streets around a U.S. address, landmark, or intersection (Figure 1).

International Street Mapping

A geographic file of international highways is included with Maptitude that allows you to create effective maps of any region in the world (Figure 2). Caliper also offers an Australian version , a United Kingdom version, and a Canadian version, all with detailed streets for their respective country. Please contact Caliper Sales for information on other street-level map data for other countries.

Furthermore, Caliper offers the Download Free Layers add-in that provides easy access to no-cost web-based data sources. This tool allows you to access street level data for countries around the world.

Street-Level Geographic Analysis

Street-based tools allow you to answer questions such as "how many customers are within a three mile drive from a facility" or "what is the closest fire station to every street in my city." (Figures 3 and 4)

Maptitude can also find shortest routes with directions or create delivery routes based on delivery sequence or fastest time.

GPS Support

Maptitude also has GPS support, allowing you to track your location at the street level, perform field data collection, or create and edit geographic files.

You can further enhance your maps by using the included tools for accessing free imagery from the World Wide Web. With a single mouse click you can download aerial imagery and topographic maps for anywhere in the U.S. (Figure 5)
