Windows:

Workspaces:

  • You can save multiple windows as a workspace
  • This is the way to save all open windows
  • You can save windows of different types
  • Workspaces are good ways to organize projects

Each window has settings that can be saved and restored, so that you can save each type of window and open the settings file later to recreate the map, dataview, figure or layout.

You can also save all your open windows in a single step using a workspace. When you save a workspace, Maptitude puts information about all of your windows into a single file. When you open this file, all the windows are restored.
