A dataview is a window on a world of tabular data. Maptitude directly opens dBASE and FoxPro, comma-delimited and fixed-format text, and fixed-format binary files, and opens many other database and spreadsheet files using ODBC.

In a dataview you can see one table, or a group of joined tables. You can select and see some of the records, and you can sort the records by one or more fields. Fields can be rearranged or hidden, to tailor the dataview to your needs. You can edit data using a dataview, with powerful tools to fill groups of cells with one command.
