2.14 Map Scale and Center: Saving and Using Locations
  • Choose Edit-Add Marker to save a named map location
  • Choose Edit-Markers to use and manage markers

Markers make it easy to move any map to a particular location. You can use markers to make sure that a series of maps have exactly the same center and scale. You can also use the checkbox to change the shape of a map window to be the same as the marker's height and width. Markers are saved so that you can reuse them whenever you wish. You can use the Apply button to move a map quickly to different markers, to see what the map shows for those locations.
