Themes & Legends

• The size of the pie shows the total of the fields
• The size of the slices or length of the bars shows the values for each field

You can create pie charts or various types of bar charts, either regular or with a 3-D style:

• Vertical bar chart
• Stacked vertical bar chart
• Horizontal bar chart
• Stacked horizontal bar chart

Chart themes can be created on point, line, and area layers. When you display charts on a line layer, the chart starts at the midpoint of the line. For point layers, the chart starts at the location of the point. For area layers, the chart is centered at the centroid of the area.
