EXERCISE: Editing Data in a Dataview
Choose
File-Close All
to close windows, then choose
File-Open
or click on the toolbar, and choose EDITDATA.DVW from the Maptitude\Tutorial folder.
Click on a cell in the [My Field] column.
Type "123" and press Enter. The old value is replaced. Double click on the same cell.
Click at the end of the number, type "4" and press Enter. The value is changed.
Choose
Edit-Add Records
or click
on the toolbar. A new record appears.
Type values into each field.
Click on a cell in the new record..
Choose
Edit-Delete Records
or click
on the toolbar. Click Yes to delete the record.
