EXERCISE: Creating a Joined View
Close any open windows, choose
File-Open Workspace
, and choose USSALES.WRK in the Maptitude\Tutorial folder.
Choose
Dataview-Join
or click on the toolbar.
Choose [Abbrev.] from the Joining From Field drop-down list.
Click OK. Maptitude displays the joined dataview.
Choose the Total column (rightmost column in the dataview).
Click
on the toolbar. Maptitude displays a new map window with the color theme.
Click
on the toolbar and choose the Total column.
Click OK. Maptitude labels the states with the total sales.
Choose
File-Close All
to close the maps and the dataviews.
