Dataviews
4.5 Dataview Basics: Creating a Dataview for Any Layer or Table
  • Choose File-New to display the New File dialog box, choose Dataview, and click OK for the New Dataview dialog box:

The dialog box lists all of the open tables, including joined tables, even if they are not currently displayed in a dataview. You can have more than one dataview of the same table. Each dataview can have its own settings, so that you can look at the same data in different ways. If you edit a cell in one dataview, it is updated in any other dataviews that include the same table.
