EXERCISE: Creating a Chart
Choose
File-New
, click on Chart and click OK, or click
on the toolbar to display the Chart Data dialog box.
Click on Population in the Read Data From scroll list and click OK. Maptitude displays the Chart Properties dialog box.
Click on the vertical bar chart type and click Apply. Maptitude draws a chart, but the names overlap.
Click on the horizontal bar chart type and click OK. Maptitude redraws the chart.
Right click the mouse and choose Properties to display the Chart Properties dialog box again.
Choose Decreasing Value from the Sort By drop-down list.
Click the Axis Settings tab and choose Every 2 Tics from the Interval drop-down list.
Click the Styles tab and click Multicolor.
Click OK. Maptitude displays the design changes.
