EXERCISE: Working with Layouts
Right click on the map frame and choose
Properties
, then click Open. Maptitude displays the map in a new window.
Click
, click the Styles tab, and click Next>> or <<Previous to choose another set of colors.
Click OK. Maptitude redraws the map.
Choose the layout from the Window menu.
Right click on the map and choose
Replace
.
Choose Map2 and click OK. Maptitude replaces the old map with the new map.
Click
, drag a rectangle and type a title for the layout.
Press Enter. Maptitude adds the text to the layout.
Click
, click on the text, drag the text to a new location, and change the size of the text.
Double click to display the Freehand Text dialog box, and make changes to the text and style.
Click OK. Maptitude shows the text with the new settings.
