Using Field Sets

Field Sets make it easy to swap fields in and out of the plan’s dataviews. For example, you might decide to build a plan considering only the unadjusted data, but then check the summaries for the adjusted data. You might create field sets that contain total population fields, voting age population fields, unadjusted fields, adjusted fields, or a mixture of fields in a variety of orders (e.g., unadjusted total population followed by adjusted total population, unadjusted white followed by adjusted white, etc.).

To Create a Field Set

  1. Choose Redistricting>Field Sets to display the Field Sets dialog box.
  2. Click Add to display the Define Field Set dialog box.
