The ensemble analysis in Maptitude for Redistricting uses a proprietary implementation of the ReCom method of the Markov chain Monte Carlo algorithm.
Note: Ensemble results can be variable based on the seed locations, allowable deviation, and base layer. Census blocks produce the best result but may require considerable time.
