When working with data in Maptitude, you may need to find summary information including averages, sums, standard deviations, or any other statistics.
To get the summary statistics for your chosen data, first open the dataview of the working layer by going to Dataview>New Dataview. Then, choose the selection set you want to calculate summary statistics for from the top-left pulldown and select Dataview>Statistics>Summary. This will generate a new dataview with the summary information for all of your numeric data fields. You can then export this data using File>Export>Table.
