Starting GISDK

GISDK is installed when you install Maptitude. From within Maptitude, you can use GISDK through a toolbar to test and debug add-ins and custom applications written in Caliper Script. When you are accessing Maptitude as a COM Object, you create a Maptitude COM object through which you can call GISDK functions and macros.

• If you have not already done so, start your text editor.

• If you have not already done so, start Maptitude.

• Choose Tools>GIS Developer’s Kit.

Maptitude displays the GISDK toolbox. You are now ready to use GISDK. For more information on the GISDK toolbox , see Compiling and Testing with the GISDK toolbox.
