Summary

Waits for the user to drag a rectangle on a map or layout and type text, and adds a freehand text item.

Syntax

RunMacro("G30 annotation text")

Notes

• This is the macro called by the Freehand Text tool on the Tools toolbar.

• This macro is explicitly designed to be called only from a Tool item in a dialog box of type Toolbox.

• If the rectangle will be too small to see the text as it is typed, Maptitude displays the Freehand Text dialog box. Otherwise, the user types the text into the rectangle.
