GetODBCLayerInfo()
Summary
Gets information about an ODBC layer.
Syntax
GetODBCLayerInfo(string service_name, string schema_name, string layer_name, array fields)
| Argument | Contents |
|---|---|
| service_name | The name of the ODBC service |
| schema_name | The name of the ODBC schema if necessary, otherwise null |
| layer_name | The name of the ODBC table |
| fields | The names of the fields with the ID, X and Y values |
Returns
An array of four real numbers defining the bounding coordinates of the file: {x_min, y_min, x_max, y_max}.

odbc_info = GetODBCLayerInfo("myservice", "US Data", "US County", {"ID", "Lon", "Lat"})
// Returns this type of information...
// odbc_info = {-187.551936, 18.913826, ...} (bounding rect)
Error Codes
| Error Type | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Error | The service is not a valid ODBC database, or one of the parameters is invalid |
| NotFound | There is no service with the specified name |
