Using the Maptitude Online Data Library

Maptitude Online includes demographic data about population, age, ethnicity, race, income, education, income, buying power, households, families, nationality, ancestry, employment, housing, and more. One way of using the data is to create a new map that includes data fields of interest for your desired level of geography as described in Creating a New Map Showing Specific Boundaries. Alternatively, you can use the Data Library to retrieve data for U.S. geographic areas using plain-language queries. You describe the data you want in everyday terms, and Maptitude Online searches its database and returns matching records that you can download or map directly. Here are some examples of data requests you can make:

  • Counties by poverty level
  • Compare median age between ZIP Codes in New York and New Jersey
  • Census tracts with the highest poverty rates in Michigan
  • ZIP Codes where more than 25% of the housing units are over $1,000,000
  • Average travel time to work by ZIP Code in Florida

The Data Library allows you to perform data requests up to your monthly quota. Your past queries are saved and can be rerun without counting toward your quota.
