Uploading Maps to Maptitude Online

Maptitude can upload your maps to an online sharing portal that will allow you to share the maps you create in the desktop software. Maptitude Online™ allows you to share your interactive maps with people who don't have the desktop Maptitude software.

To share your maps in Maptitude Online you need to have purchased a subscription for the service for yourself and for anyone that you wish to share your work with. You can purchase a new subscription or add users to an existing subscription in the Caliper Store.

To Create a Maptitude Online Account

Choose Online>Upload to Maptitude Online.
On the Maptitude Online desktop Login window, click Subscribe.
Purchase a Maptitude Online Subscription on the Caliper Store and follow the instructions to create a new account with a login name and password.

To Log In to a Maptitude Online Account

Choose Online>Open Maptitude Online.
Enter your Email and password.
Click Log In.

Maptitude opens your Maptitude Online account and displays map cards of your uploaded maps and any maps shared with you from other Maptitude Online users. For more information, see the Maptitude Online Help.

To Upload a Map to a Maptitude Online Account

Choose Online>Upload to Maptitude Online.
Enter your Email, password, and website and click Log In.
Enter a name for the uploaded map in the Map Title edit box.
Choose the layers to include in the uploaded map by checking the boxes in the Upload column.

NOTE: Maps that are uploaded to Maptitude Online have a maximum total layer size of 20. Each layer has a size of 1 apart from user-created area layers (e.g., territories and rings) that have a size of 2.

For each layer that you chose to include do the following:

Choose whether to upload all features in the layer or a selection set from the drop-down list in the Selection column.
Choose which fields to include by clicking the button in the Fields column to display the Include Fields dialog box. Click Select All to include all of the fields, click Clear to remove all of the fields, or use the Add>> and <<Drop buttons to modify the list of selected fields. Click OK when you are done.
If there is a report associated with the layer that you would also like to upload, check the box in the Report column.

Click Upload.

Maptitude uploads the chosen layers as a map in your Maptitude Online account, launches your default browser, and opens the Maptitude Online dashboard with a new map card that links to the uploaded map.
