Two new features are now available in Maptitude Online

How much use is your map getting? The new Analytics tab lets you know, and you can now map straight from Google Sheets too. Both features come with your Maptitude Online subscription, and we explore each one below.

Map Analytics and Google Sheets

What’s the story?

Analytics and Google Sheets are in your account now. There is nothing to install and no update to run:

✓	Map Analytics. The new Analytics tab reports total views, how many of your maps were active, and your ten most-viewed maps, over the last 7, 30, or 90 days. No tracking code and no third-party setup.
✓	Google Sheets. Map data from a Google Sheet alongside your Excel and CSV files. Connect your Google account once, then build a map from the Sheet without downloading or converting it first.

Why is this important?

Here is what changes day to day:

✓	You can see which maps are getting used and which have gone quiet, instead of guessing.
✓	You skip the download and convert step every time you start a map from a Google Sheet.

Choose Settings > Integrations in Maptitude Online to link your Google account. A connection is required before you can create maps from Google Sheets.

That changes what a market demands: home medical care and single-level housing rather than schools and pediatric care. Total population counts hide the shift entirely, which is why this ratio belongs in your territory and site decisions.

Where should the next distribution center go?

Put a store or a distribution center in the wrong place and you pay for it for years. This step-by-step tutorial works through the analysis in Maptitude: drive-time rings to see how far delivery trucks can travel and return within federal driver-hour limits, tagging to assign every store to its nearest distribution center, and a color theme to show where coverage is stretched or doubled up. The example uses a convenience store chain with more than 875 locations and two distribution centers, built entirely from the store list on their public website.
