Tech Tip: How Do I Import Open Source Public Transport/Transit Data?

Maptitude can also work with data from a variety of other sources, including the General (Google) Transit Feed Specification (GTFS). Using GTFS data, you can map public transportation/transit routes and locations from agencies all over the world.

Tricks & Tips: Importing Google Earth KML/KMZ Attributes

Maptitude 2016 is one of the few applications that can import and export all of your fields of attribute data when working with Google Earth KML/KMZ map files. Maptitude 2016 handles this seamlessly and also retains your layer's styles and labels when exporting to KML/KMZ.

To import, simply choose File-Open, choose Google Earth Document as the file type, and choose your KML/KMZ file. To export your data to the free Google Earth application, choose your working layer from the layer drop-down and then choose Tools-Export and choose KML or KMZ as the file type.
