Maptitude Mapping Software Team Provides Corporate Sponsorship for NEGIS Spring Conference

NEWTON MA (USA) - The Northeast Geographic Information Society (NEGIS) Spring Conference was held on April 26, 2018 in Boston, Massachusetts. NEGIS is a charitable organization whose purpose is to raise awareness and promote and support geographic information technology in the community and in education, notably through scholarships and internships.

The Maptitude mapping software team is proud to provide corporate sponsorship for the NEGIS Spring Conference. All conference proceeds fund the NEGIS scholarship program that benefits students in higher education studying GIS, with the goal to help develop trained GIS professionals. The 2018 NEGIS Scholarship Recipient was: Erin Jacques, Northeastern University, Boston, MA.

A booth allowed attendees to learn more about Maptitude, and Stewart Berry of Caliper Corporation gave a talk titled "Transportation, Logistics, & Politics: GIS at Every Turn."
