Caliper is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to third parties. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. Order details in our store are shared only when necessary to complete an order with our payment processor, shipping services or third-party data suppliers. No credit card information is stored by Caliper. Unless the user provides it voluntarily, Caliper does not collect any personally identifiable information about visitors of the website. Some pages permit visitors to request additional information. Visitors are able to e-mail messages to Caliper that will contain the user's name and e-mail address, as well as any additional information the user may wish to include in the message. Caliper uses the information visitors provide about themselves to fulfill those visitors' requests.

We will not facilitate the merging of personally identifiable information with non-personally identifiable information collected through any Google advertising product or feature.

The Google Analytics Advertiser Features and Demographic Interest Reports have been implemented. Collected information is for internal use only to help better understand our users and their interests. This information helps in developing a better user experience. Remarketing

Caliper Corporation uses third-party vendor re-marketing tracking cookies, including the Google AdWords tracking cookie and the Google Analytics cookie. This means we may continue to show ads to you across the internet, specifically on the Google Content Network (GCN). As always, we respect your privacy and are not collecting any identifiable information through the use of Google’s or any other third-party remarketing system.

The third-party vendors, including Google, whose services we use – will place cookies on web browsers in order to serve ads based on past visits to our website. This allows Caliper Corporation to make special offers and to continue to market our services and products to those who have shown interest in them.

How to Opt Out of Remarketing and Advertising:

Retargeting and Behavioral Advertising
When we share your information with third parties for retargeting purposes, or for behavioral advertising, you have a right to revoke your consent (if provided) or otherwise opt-out of such services. Where a third-party processes data on our behalf, (e.g., Custom Audiences, or Customer Match) you may opt-out. However, to the extent the third party processes your information for its own purposes, you should opt out with that third party directly. Products & Services Privacy

Caliper collects personally identifiable information about its customers in order to process and fulfill orders, provide support and training and to keep customers informed about software updates and new products. In addition, during the software activation process, a machine fingerprint is taken to associate a particular serial number with the licensed computer. Caliper is the sole owner of the information collected and does not sell, share, or rent this information to third parties, with the exception of order details that are shared only when necessary to complete an order with our banks, payment processor, shipping services or third-party data suppliers.

Desktop Software Data Collection

We collect installation data to facilitate the installation, activation, and updating of the software product.

  • We do not share this data with 3rd parties.
  • We do not track your day-to-day use of Caliper desktop products.
  • We do not create any log of the activity of any user other than for normal operation of the software (such as undo/redo) for temporary use during a session that the software is open. Certain products allow the user to choose to automatically keep track of different document versions. Other than user-enabled versioning, and the saving of documents, no user-initiated activity log is produced.

Data about your installation of our desktop products:

  • Registration data. Data you provide to use the products such as user registration and activation data.
  • Device and software data. Data about your device and the Caliper desktop product you use, including information about your hardware and software. During activation/installation/startup, for example, we collect some of the following data: username, hostname, domain, MAC address, IP address, Caliper software name and version and build number and serial number, OS name, OS bitness, organization, and email address.

You can prevent some of this data processing by:

  • Not registering the software. This may impact your access to Caliper Technical Support and other Caliper services.
  • Installing and activating a Caliper desktop product without an internet connection, when supported by the Caliper product.
  • Unchecking "Check for Updates on Startup" in your Caliper desktop product Edit>Preferences.

California Privacy Rights

Your Californian Privacy Rights: A Notice to California Users (California Civil Code Section 1798.83). Under the California “Shine The Light” law, California residents may opt-out of Caliper’s disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Any California resident may choose to opt-out of the sharing of such personal information with third parties for marketing purposes at any time by directing such request to info@caliper.com.
