This map shows the location of the Fukushima Daiichi power plant that was destroyed in the Tsunmai on March 11, 2011. Mandatory evacuation was required of anyone living within 20km of the accident and the U.S. ambassador recommended that all Americans within 80km of the accident leave the area or at least remain indoors. This map shows the cities affected by the evacuation orders.
