Taco Bell is clearly the predominant chain in every state and territory except for Wyoming and the Dakotas where Taco John's is most common. The pie charts show that Taco Bell is practically the exclusive taco chain for the entire eastern half of the nation with the exception of a small presence of Del Taco in Georgia. States West of the Mississippi River have more options for taco chains with a fairly significant presence of Taco John's in the upper Midwest, Taco Time in the Northwest, Del Taco in the Southwest, and Taco Cabana and Taco Bueno in Texas.
