What Flood Zone Data is Available in Maptitude?

There is not a native flood zone data layer loaded into the software, but there is a downloadable FEMA imagery layer which you can add to any Maptitude map. Follow these steps to use the FEMA DFIRM data:

  1. Right-click on the following URL: FEMA Flood Hazard Zones.xml and choose Save Link As… to download the file to your Documents\Caliper\Maptitude20XX\Web Map Services folder.
  2. Reopen Maptitude and add the DFIRM imagery layer to an open map by choosing Map>Imagery>FEMA Flood Hazard Zones.
    Note:     You may need to zoom in to see the layer. The DFIRM imagery is only displayed at larger map scales of approximately 1:1 to 1:60,000.
  3. Choose Map>Imagery>FEMA Flood Hazard Zones again to turn off the FEMA DFIRM layer.
