How Do I Map My Addresses in the Europe Country Package?

You can map addresses and postcodes in Europe using mapping software.

This article will explain how you can geocode addresses or postcodes in Europe.

Download a free mapping software trial of Maptitude Desktop or use your existing Maptitude Desktop license.
Change the country package you are using to the Europe Country Package.
Select New map of my data/table/spreadsheet and click OK.
Select the Excel file and Sheet that you would like to map. Click OK.
Use the Your Fields drop downs to properly configure your Excel columns. Ensure that you have a Country column. Maptitude requires this column to geocode or map boundaries with your data attached. Click Next.
Select the type of map you would like to create:
1. To see your data as points on the map, choose one of the Locate options. To locate addresses, select Locate records in your file by Street Address or Postcode.
2. To see your data attached to Postcode boundaries, choose the the Show option.
Click Next.
Optionally, you can choose to link your data, which means any changes made to the Excel file will update the map in Maptitude.

Click Next.
Optionally, you can choose to create a theme with your data.

Optionally, you can also add labels or text showing one of the columns in your Excel file.

Click Next.

How Do I Map My Addresses in the Europe Country Package? Geocoding results after successfully locating by address.

If you do not see any mapping options except for Locate records in your file by World City, check whether you have a Country Field in the source table and if that field was configured properly in Step 5.
