Maptitude is the best mapping software for business intelligence! The map below shows where each national team was based during the 2026 World Cup group stage. Each team played three matches at 16 venues across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. As a result, fans who wanted to follow their team throughout the tournament faced dramatically different travel requirements. Egypt's supporters had the shortest journey, traveling just 240 miles to follow their team from Seattle to Vancouver and back to Seattle, while the team itself had only a short trip to its home base in Spokane, Washington (red dashed line). In contrast, fans of Bosnia and Herzegovina faced the longest journey, covering 3,145 miles as their team traveled from Toronto to Los Angeles and then on to Seattle, with substantial additional travel required for the team to reach its home base in Sandy, Utah (blue dashed line).
