See the Points on your Map Clearly

When creating a thematic map, if your points are clustered close together, you may want to set the style of the layer to be less than 100% Opacity so that overlapping symbols are clearer.  You can do this by working with the Symbol styles in the Display Manager.

  1. Find your layer in the Display Manager and click on the symbol icon next to your layer name. This will open the Symbol Style dialog box.
  2. In the Symbol Style, adjust the opacity to something lower than 100(opaque).  Try 45 or 50 and adjust to meet your needs.
