Export Data to Excel

You can export demographic overlay data and other information to Excel by choosing the layer to export, making it the working layer, and clicking the Export to Excel button  on the Standard toolbar.

You can also export just the tabular information from a layer by right-clicking on that layer in the display manager, choosing “new dataview”, and going to File>Export>Table.

Freehand drawing items are not layers and do not exist in the display manager, so you can export their demographics by right-clicking on them and choosing “Export To Excel”. Please see the following article for the differences between layers and freehand drawings.

Note: If you get a “this data is restricted and cannot be exported” error, that is because some layers (like the Street layer) are protected layers and cannot be exported to excel.
