You can export ZIP code-level data from your territories using territory mapping software. In Maptitude Online, territory assignments are stored at the ZIP code level, but the standard territory export doesn’t include additional information such as tracking fields or census demographics for each ZIP code. To get that level of detail, you need to add a ZIP Code boundary layer to your map and export directly from that layer instead.

Adding the ZIP Code Layer to Your Map
- Open the map that contains your territories.
- Click the Add Data tool on the left.
- Choose Boundaries.
- Select 5 Digit ZIP Codes, then click Next.
- Add your tracking fields. To include the city name, choose All in the dropdown at the top and select Name. Click OK to finish adding the ZIP codes to the map, then wait for the layer to load.
Filtering and Downloading Your ZIP Code Data
Once the 5 Digit ZIP Codes layer has loaded, you can filter it down to only the ZIP codes that have a territory assignment and export the results as a table.
- Expand the 5 Digit ZIP Codes layer and click the table icon. Click the Filter Table button in the dataview, then set up a filter that includes only ZIP codes with a territory assignment.
- Click the download button in the dataview. This produces a table with the ZIP codes, names, and all of your tracking fields alongside each ZIP code’s territory assignment.
