Window Menu

Item Shortcut Description
Refresh F5 Refreshes a map (for example, updates themes if the underlying data has been modified) or dataview (for example, updates formula field values if the data on which they are based have been modified).
Tile Horizontally Shift F3 Tiles all non-minimized windows horizontally, giving priority to making windows wider rather than taller.
Tile Vertically Shift F4 Tiles all non-minimized windows vertically, giving priority to making windows taller rather than wider.
Cascade Shift F5 Arranges all non-minimized windows so that they are the same size and their title bars are visible.
Arrange Icons Shift F6 If you have any windows minimized as icons, arranges the icons in the default arrangement.
Minimize All Shift F7 Minimizes all of the open windows.
Restore All Shift F8 Restores all minimized windows to their previous size and location.
Windows Shift F9 Displays the Windows dialog box to manage windows choosing an active window or closing multiple windows.

 

Help Menu

Maptitude Help Opens and displays this Maptitude Help system
Data Package Help Opens and displays help for regional data or country package that you have installed
GISDK Help Opens and displays help for the Geographic Information System Developer's Kit (internet connection required)
Maptitude Learning Portal Connects you to the Caliper Learning Portal (internet connection required)
Video Tutorials Starts your Internet browser and displays a list of available video tutorials
Contact Technical Support Starts your Internet browser and displays the Caliper Technical Support Request page
Email Technical Support Starts your mail program and starts an e-mail to Caliper Technical Support
Caliper Website Starts your Internet browser and displays the Caliper website
Online Registration Starts your Internet browser and displays the product registration page on the Caliper website
Check for Updates Checks if there is a newer version available and informs you if you are up-to-date or provides information about the new version
Manage License Shows you which country packages you have licensed, lets you renew a license, and lets you reload a license. Contact support@caliper.com if you encounter issues with your license.
About Displays the About Maptitude dialog box with your serial number and version information
